Olive Broderick reads for Holocaust Memorial Day

#12NOW poet Olive Broderick recently read as part of a poetry and prose event at Down County Museum for Holocaust Memorial Day 2017.

The event featured author Jane Coyle performing a dramatic monologue, ‘Farm Girl‘ which interweaves reflections on the Holocaust with the story of the Jewish Refugee Farm at Millisle, and poetry readings by County Down poets from Olive’s ‘Words for Castle Ward‘ group.

Listen below to Olive reading ‘The Truth The Dead Know‘ by Anne Sexton, and ‘A poem only in translation’ from her Templar pamphlet Darkhaired.
