Northern Visions TV is running a free poetry workshop with poet and editor John Brown on 28th February, as part of Collapse the Box Week.
The workshop is open to groups. Groups from socially disadvantaged areas especially welcome. Some places for individuals reserved. Transport can be provided for groups within the Belfast area if required.
John Brown is a published poet and writer. He writes articles on poetry and visual art for journals and magazines both within and beyond Ireland. He edited ‘Magnetic North: The Emerging Poets’ (2006), published by Verbal Art Centre, as well as publishing his own collection, ‘As The Crow Flies‘ with Lagan in 2003.
The workshop is from 2pm to 3.30pm, at the Art College, 25 – 51 York Street (top of Donegall Street, beside St Anne’s Cathedral and opposite the old Belfast Telegraph building). The building has disability access.
